as far as I'm concerend this is one of the main functionalities, that are provided with the additional Module DTS.
We use a powershell script that pulls all the detailed info out of AD and creates a custom table in LDMS DB. Runs nightly on a scheduled task. Doesn't show in inventory obviously so cannot query but is available via reporting tool using SQL.
I will have to revise the script before posting. Let me know if you want it.

HAHA fair point. Wish I didn't have to do it sometimes too.
As schmiddi mentioned then, DTS is part of Data Analytics which, from the presentation we were given not long ago, does what you require.
