Remote control requires the client to be in "Gateway Mode" which is changed from the system tray icon, it will create a registry key in HKLM\Software\Intel\LANDesk\WUSER32 called "Gateway" and if it is in Gateway mode its value will be "1".
Software distribution through the Gateway is going to require the package to be in a location that either the client or the Gateway can "find", so basically either a public webshare or a webshare on the Core Server, UNC shares will not work in most cases.
Just to thank you. I already tried the remote control, that's the only thing I can test today, and it works really fine.
Now I have to wait for the next monday to test the software distribution. We have to create a web share for it, because we only use UNC paths.
