We are looking to utilise the request module using Self Service, Service Catalogue Etc.. and we have built into the process an authorisation branch. So if a end user request software it would then go to their Manager for approval, but we are allowing them to change the approval Manager on the form (in cases where manager may be off sick etc.).
My Question is do we set up a role in the system of end user Manager approvers with the priveleges of approval or do we set up a Support Group and add the users. I ask this because we will have analysts within the system who will be requesting items and obviously we cannot add an Analyst to the End user Role.
