The console.exe.log might help in this case.
I have also seen be an issue with authentication to the core or corrupt Dll's In one case it was a corrupt msinterp2.dll.
Sorry for the delayed response.
Still i'm getting same error.I've replaced the msinterp2.dll, but no use...cosole.exe.log file also doesn't have useful information...
Also i installed SP2....but it's not helping me to come out..
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
Just a heads up, I actually have the Console sequenced, its been a while, but we pretty much stopped using it. What seemed to be an issue for us whas file hashing and downloading, mainly of the patches. If we did an on demand download of patches, all of them failed. Other quirky issues would occur, so we just gave up on it all together. To us it said something when we inquired as if LANDesk provided their own VMWare ThinApp version of the console since we had licensed the LANDesk version of ThinApp through them and none existed.
