    Scan Handler - Removing specificed string from the start of a Barcode

    Rookie

      Hi I'm trying to configure my RF Guns to remove any barcode that starts with "1P" and that starts with an "S".

      I have the following code written for the removal of the S but it doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone correct my mistake or show me where I'm making the error. Thanks very much!

      Syntax= A(0){0,S}[SS]

          Hello Sam,

          You are pretty close with your current scan handler.

          A(0) - Any symbology of any length

          {0,S} - String Match, barcode starts with an S. (or you would change this to 1P for your other barcodes

          [SS] - You will want to change this a little bit. So this tells us to Strip from the Start, but does not say how many characters to strip. So you  would want this to look like [SS1] which would strip the 1 character from the start of the barcode.

          So it should look like:

          A(0){0,S}[SS1]

          or

          A(0){0,P1}[SS2]

          Best Regards
