I have been dealing with an on going issue with LANDesk Antivirus installations that would fail on certian PCs but not others and if deploying the entire client, all other components (Remote control, Desktop Manager etc.) will install correctly and without issue. Normally when installing the LANDesk client it would remove the currently install antivirus and replace it with its own. I tested a few different ways of deploying the antivirus without success. Then I started looking at any application that would cause the failure and I happen to come across the Windows Security Essentials application on my test machine. I removed the application and the LANDesk antivirus installed correctly. This appears to occur on SP1 SP2 and the 18.104.22.168 Base beta clients.
Just curious if anyone else has seen this same issue.
