Well as far as the .NET installs go, it appears that if the .NET was installed as part of a Windows Server 2008 Role or Feature, LANDesk does not see it. I figured I could add custom registry items to the inventory scan to look at the registry install locations, but they are still not showing up even after I made the new registry items available to the clients using Manage Software. The LDAPPL3.ini file updated on both the CORE and the clients, I verified the registry entries are in the file, but they are not showing under Custom Data on the machine's inventory. Also, they are not included in the Unknown Items under Configure -> Services -> Inventory -> Unknown Items...any thoughts?
If you did custom registry keys and these are 64bit servers, LANDESK can only see the 32bit registry areas. Check what the patch should be for 32bit information.
