    DVRMAP.exe never seems to work

      We have never had success with DVRMAP.exe mapping a drive. We always replace the commands with net use and plain text the username and password.

      So using LD 9.5 SP2 at the Interchange Boot camp I thought I would spin up another VM to act as a PXE rep and work through the process... its failing here to.

      Here is the script I use:

      [VALUES]

      Task=7

      This is a simple VM test enviornment:

      1 Core

      1 Windows 7 PXE rep

      1 target device

      The local usernames and password are all the same across the images. NET USE DOES WORK, so please don't waste my time with DNS, etc... UNLESS there is a known issue with drvmap.exe that requires the UNC path to be something other than what I have set.

          I spent a few hours in the labs trying everything I could. Seems other people have had the same issue and resorted to just using net use commands.

          I tried several things and nothing seemed to work. About the 4th re-install of the PXE rep, it seems to be working now. No real idea why. I did come across another post that suggested re-installing if everything worked using net use command.

          Still would like to know what exactly is wrong so I know how to diagnose and fix the issue in our production enviornment.
