why would you do that?
There is obviously a way to uninstall the agent by removing what's been added during install but that would be very complicated as there are many different things that are set up when installing.
Thanks for your reply, i was trying some options but it doesen't worked,.
Could you share me any one method to unistall the landesk client agent without using uninstallwinclient?
First I'd follow this doc to remove the mirror and blanking drivers:
Then I'd remove these files:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk
And these registry keys:
And these environment variables:
And these services:
- Intel Local Scheduler Service
- Intel PDS
That's the basics. There may be more to be removed, depending on what modules are part of the agent.
Thanks for your reply, I will check in my test environmnet.
could you please share script?
Here is what we use:
ECHO Stop LANDESK Services
net stop "LANDesk Policy Invoker" /yes
net stop CBA8 /yes
net stop ISSUSER /yes
net stop "LANDesk Targeted Multicast" /yes
ECHO Deleting LANDesk Directory
RMDIR C:\ProgramData\LANDesk /S /Q
ECHO Deleting Registry Common API for LD Agents
C:\Windows\System32\Reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\LANDesk\Common Api" /f
C:\Windows\System32\Reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\LANDesk\Common Api" /f
ECHO UNInstall Agent
UninstallWinClient.exe /UI /NOREBOOT /FORCECLEAN
The uninstall exe is located in the Core ldmain directory
It's working fine, thanks for your information.
