    LDMS 9.5 SP2 "Unable to get settings from core"

      I am having what appears to be an old problem but none of the solutions I have read through and attempted have worked up to this point.


      I have about 100 machines out of 14000 that are not running their scheduled vulscans. attempting to manually scan them initiated from the core fails with

      "Unable to get settings from core". Inventory scan executes perfectly.


      I've worked through three different articles with answers from Paul Hoffman regarding agent behaviour xml file recreation, etc and have had no success. I've performed an IISRESET and results are the same.


      Current version 9.5 SP2, no component patches to date. Agent version 9.5 (agent upgrade in process of being scheduled)
