What time did a specific computer complete a task?

    dawillsta Rookie

      Hi Everyone,

Is there any way to know what time a particular policy executed and completed on a PC just by looking at the management console?

      Thanks!

      Willie

You can right click the computer in the task and choose view log file for any date / time information.

Or if running 9.5 right click the machine and choose 'inspect'

Then in the LD Download part you will see the times that the files were downloaded to the cache. But not when they execute.

I use a query that reports that condition of tasks. It can be scheduled to run or ran as a report and scheduled. The query goes into the inventory list on all devices in a given subnet (for example) and scans the <Device_Name>.LANDesk Management.Scheduler.Tasks for the Task Id that we are interested in and shows all of the devices that posess the desired status, return code or Result. In this we can determine all of the conditions of any SD rollout automatically for the people who care. If you like pictures / graphs then use the reporting tool. If all you care about is a csv file then a scheduled query may be plenty.
