    Prerequisite query not running

    Spankyjimbob Rookie

      HI,

I have created a package that uses a pre-requisite query to detect if the device has IE 10 installed. The package is still installing even though the device is identified in the pre-req query? Is there a log file that records if the prereq filter was passed?

      Regards

          Andrew,

That information is kept on the client side loge for SDClient. Look at the C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\Data\sdclient_task###.log file. Where "###" is the task ID number for that task, you can find it by right clicking on the task in the console, and selecting "Info". It should mention having checked the query after downloading the files, but before executing the package. Let us know what you find.

          Thanks,

          Bryce.

            HIi,

I'll check that on my next deployment. Had to VBScript the prereq check in this case to get the package out asap.

            Thanks
