Fuse was LANDesk Service Desk's Mobile Self Service Portal. With ServiceDesk 7.2.2 it was renamed to LANDesk Fuse. So Fuse is not really new but a component of LANDesk Service Desk...
Today i have seen there must be a seperate agent with ldms 9.6.
please look at Advanced Install and troubleshoot Fuse
maybe you could use fuse without have service desk
While at Interchange back in May, they had Fuse set up for demonstration. I asked this question specifically and it can be used without Service Desk.
It is a much slicker version of the Desktop Manager app that is in 9.5. You'll be able to advertise software installs and I was told that it will be able to be linked with Process Manager to kick off workflows.
In the meantime I figured out how it works.
You just have to create optional tasks like before. Then they will show up in LANDesk portal manager and Fuse. But Fuse looks more complicated because you always have to login
It would be nice if landesk added a singlesignon for it. Another login isn't really good :/
Especially when it is UPN name.
SIngleSignOn should be added in an october update.
