    Capture image for master

    Rookie

       

      Hello,

       

       

      I want make a image capture with "image.exe". My master have 2 Partitions, and in my I've only 1 partition. Why ?

       

       

      I use PXE boot with Landesk 8.7 SP5

          I am going to make the assumption that you meant ImageX was the tool you are using.

           

           

          ImageX is a volume specific tool. It does not clone an entire drive, but a partition.  I believe ImageW to be the same way, but am not certain because I do not use it.

            Hello,

             

            I believe the default behavior of the LANDesk imaging tool (if the wizard is used) is to capture the C: of your machine.

            Try adding the following command to capture the second partition if your using a script:

             

            H:\imagew.exe /C02 i:\ImageName.img, STATUS FACILITY=3510, SYNC

             

            Personally I would recommend using a template something along these lines should work.
