Did you ever get this worked out? Where was this example you showed from?
I've talked with our TAM and we have discussed some of the new reporting coming out, but don't have a specific answer right now.
I just need a SQL master to mold my developing SQL ninja skills.
I pulled the screenshot from Jed's awesome report:
You would have to create a query for that information, create a powershell script that uses the MBSDK to run the query (you can scheduled this windows scheduler, etc...) and export to csv and possibly manage it via Excel. Basically reporting is a mess, always has been. I would not hold your breath on the new reporting. Basically if you are not proficient in SQL and Excel, or have DA, you can't do complex reporting.
Amen, brother. LANDESK does a lot of things very well but the reporting tool is a glaring weakness. LD should replace it outright. I use SQL, Excel, and Crystal for all of my reporting needs. The best thing about the report designer is that it shows you the SQL query it uses so that you can go and mine the data yourself (Data Sources - Edit -Query).
For any who are gluttons for punishment, here is a link to the Data Dynamics users guide (v1.5). LANDESK uses 1.6 so this should be close enough. http://sur.ly/o/datadynamics.com/products%2Fddrpt%2FOverview.aspx/AA001290 .
