Hello, has anyone had success in migrating the following from a Windows 2003 server to Windows 2008 server? We hold Helpdesk 7.0 for historical audit reasons and as Server 2003 ends next summer we need to move the lot to 2008.
I'd virtualise it if that is an option - a whole lot less pain. I've taken old HD versions to the current shipping version and run them against slightly non-supported Dbs and it works OK. But if you want support, that's a different issue. I'd also take a look at hooking a reporting engine up to the database and say if you want to take a look, go run these reports.
