We have the same problem, I believe it is a bug. We were able to do copy/paste, OR put it in a folder and move the whole folder.
We have same problem too. Its bug I guess
I have tested this in my lab and it is adding the tasks properly to the new team. Do your teams have a scope associated with them, and are there devices added to the task that are outside of that team's scope?
Let me know.
Since I am the LANDESK admin of my environment, I have full scope of all connected devices. I have also assigned myself as a member of the particular team, so I can move things into that team's folder.
I created a brand new task to test, and without adding any devices into the task, I still cannot move it into another team's folder. This is also true if I added some devices into the task.
We are experiencing the same problem with 9.6 as well. Found that you have to put it in a folder first and then move it to the team.
I have noticed this will always fail on my remote console. But if I RDP into my core server and use the console there, it seems to work without issues.
this is a bug in 9.6, it was reproduceable by LANDESK Support and is commited as defect (I was told by support). You can copy and paste the task on an additional console as a workaround, that works fine. On the core, you can still use the drag and drop feature.
But you have to be careful if it is a repair task. If you copy the task and delete the original one, the copied one is not usable anymore, no right click is possible, the task is absolutly usless. You have to delete this task through the database. This is reported to support too.
Hope it helps.
Thanks for the info Christian. Copy and Paste on my Win remote console works sporadically for me, so I have just been going to the server directly when I need to move things around.
