When you select file>connect on the device it should should you which IP or hostname the device connected too. From there it will also show if you are unable to connect which would explain why it does not show up in the inventory.

Thanks for the response.
It looks like it's struggling to connect. The log section on the bottom says
Waiting to retry . . .
Retrying network connection . . .
Connecting to "<server name>".
Connected to "<server name>".
ERROR: Session lost.
Where can I get any more information as to why it's losing the session?
Try using the IP address instead of the server name in the connection tab to see if this works

The socket on Port 1777 was stuck in a CLOSE_WAIT status. Once I restarted the Agent everything was back to normal.
