Hi, how can I set up in IIS or LDSD.WebAccess that the End-user must NOT log into the survey website? When a link is emailed to the end-user to complete the survey, before they can access the survey question they are promoted to login to the LDSD.WebAccess portal. How can we set this that the user does NOT get this prompt? LDSD 7.5 SP1 Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise IIS- 7.5.7600.16385
Your users need to log in one way or another so that the survey record can know who created it. If your users are all internal you can use integrated login so that they are logged in automatically using their Windows credentials. For this you need to set up Web Access accordingly, see this document for details: How to set up integrated Windows Network login for Web Access (authentication pass-through).
Hi, Thank you for the feedback. I have set up integrated Windows authentication for our primary domain user and analysis already. The issue is that we have two domains and we also have non-domain users. The user accounts from both domains and non-domains are all stored in LDSD DB. Is there any way to use LDSD user DB for the self-service portal(web access) and the primary domain AD for the analysis authentications
We have made the decision that we going to use integrated authentication with AD. A domain trust will be setup between the two domains with two way authentication to be configure. All the non-domain user will be setup in the primary domain under a new OU.
