Thanks for your answer.
I've read this document already and understand that my device is not pre-licensed.
We're using our terminals in warehouse with Oracle EBS (WMS/WMA/MSCA). I guess VT/HP license will be enough in our environment.
The question is where to buy this license, from motorola or from wavelink, and what is license itself, some kind of code or file ?
Moto Part #s for TE Licenses:
SWE-82990-01- Wavelink Terminal Emulation Client VT/HP
SWE-82990-02- Wavelink Terminal Emulation Client 5250/3270
SWE-82990-03- Wavelink Terminal Emulation Client 4in1
Yes, I've seen it before.
But as I mentioned in my first post, internet sellers offers SWE-82990-01 with following description:
TN Client (Active Sync) for MC55, MC65, MC70, MC75, ES400 and ET1, VT/HP Emulation
Can I buy it without worries ? Does it fits for MC3190-S ?
What should I ask seller (license code/license file/etc) after I've paid money?
It's not clear for me
You should be OK. The part #s only describe the Client. VT, or AS400, or Both.
The internet sellers are probably trying to add searchable tags, but you cant name all the actual Motorola devices.
For the Motorola guns the wavelink telnetCE is pre-licencied , ( free ).
But for the "Brick" , without trigger, you have to buy a Wavelink telnetCE licence.
It's the Wavelink's Policy for these devices.
wich version of TelnetCE ??
You can download and install any version appropriate for that devices OS, make and model.. For licensing you will need to contact Wavelink sales to request a quote on licensing..
