You could do this from Console by adding the "Reference Number is One of" criteria and then prompt the user on this.
You can then run this Query in Console and you can select multiple reference number and get a list up with only these Incidents.
as I suspected there isn't really a way to do this as described. I have the above already set up but for ~50 or more tickets some form of automated import from csv or even a copy and paste of a csv list of reference numbers woudl simplify this tremedously. Using the "is one of" criteria means searching and adding one at a time...
And obviously the ER for bulk updating from WebAccess hasn't been implemented or set on the roadmap yet.
