If you launch the enabler on the device and manually select file>connect what messages do you see on the device when it attempts to connect to the mobile device server? Also what enabler version are you using on the device, and what Avalanche version are you using?
Thanks for your reply.
The devices connect alright when we have them in our hands and try to access the server. They are able to get updates and be used for scanning. However, on the avalanche site, some of them (maybe 2 or 3 in 50) do not show up on the list at all.
The device versions are 5.0-15 and our avalanche version is 184.108.40.2062
The original issue is likely due to our Tecton vendor switching out the entire board when we send the tectons in for repair/maintenance. As far as we can discern, that is not an Avalanche issue. However, the secondary issue of serial numbers not displaying is a still a mystery.
I'm running an earlier version of Wavelink , but have seen the 'no serial number' issue many times . In my case , Honeywell ( formally LXE ) , did not flash the serial into the device when it was manufactured or repaired . You can confirm it was flashed in properly by checking the following 'KEY' , the key is populated only if the serial is flashed into the device. If it's blank , it must be returned to repair . If it's populated ...this is not your issue . It once again becomes a Mystery !
Confirm the serial is listed here :
