Could you please specify what it is you are trying to do?
Are you looking to get a reference number for the Survey Object or are you looking to get a link that you can click to take you to the Survey / Incident to complete the Survey?
What I am looking for is a link that the analyst can click to be able to view the results of the survey the end user took.
the link you provided should work but the GUID should be the one of the survey (since one incident can have 1 or more Surveys)
I don't exactly know what your plan is, but in our case, we've created a query showing the completed survey's in a specific period.
I am trying to let analysts link to the survey that was taken on the incident they resolved from an email that is sent out after the end user takes it. I also have a query setup like you but I am looking for a 1-1 relationship.
Does this work?
If it doesn't, I suppose you could get the correct GUID using a calculation
Value = Reminder.Incident._IncidentSurveys.Latest()._Guid
The calculation did not work. Here is the error when i use the provided link, substituting myserver/server with the correct information.
I probably did not make myself clear.
The link I provided is not the one used in the calculation but the one you should use in a reminder.
I've tested it and it works: ( See screenshots below)
In the proces I've used we have 2 reminders when a survey is filled.
The second reminder is the one to the Analyst.
It is in the reminder itself we put the URL ( as you can see in the below screenshot)
When a Survey is completed this is what we get:
And that link brings us to the Survey that was taken.
I think this is the best solution for you.
I've only provided the calculation suggestion in case this would not work.
I have tried your recommendation and it is still giving me this error.
Here is how mine is setup.
The add reminder is setup as follows.
Here is the resulting text from the email sent (edited from what is above).
A survey has been completed for incident 701
What am I doing wrong?
if you open the Survey from a query; do you have the exact same URL as the one you mentioned in your last post?
