    softmon.exe locking service account

      Hello,

      My environment = 9.6 SP1

I have been looking for a solution to this problem for months now.

I have software monitor to a UNC path turned on in the inventory scan settings with the proper account information. I need this due to my school machines using deepfreeze.

Here is what the softmon log is reporting

Is there a place that I can check on the client to make sure it has the right creds being passed. The failed attempts are happening on clients with 9.6 but not 9.5. This is constantly locking out my service / scheduler account.
