Can someone help me with some ideas on how to get the user type changed to Analyst from End user and also the role from End User to Analyst base line in LANDesk service desk.
I know how to do this in console, i am looking for ideas where in i can automate this and reduce the manual efforts of changing the user type and role when new employee joins our organisation.
I know many organisations do not flag there employees as Analysts or End Users and there is some way any of you might have found a solution, it would great and helpful if you can share some ideas.
1. Our organisation doesn't flag employees as End User or Analysts.
2. LANDesk, we have WebDesk for Analysts and Self Service Desk for End Users.
3. We import all the employee records from AD to LANDesk and at LANDesk these users are set up as End Users.
4. I have to manually go change the user type and role for each employee in console, which is tedious task.
