9.6 all tasks have outdate actives computers in it

    Specialist

Just like the title, am migrated to 9.6 sp1 latest update. All my tasks have a couple of active computers in the task. They will stay there indefinitely till I cancel the task and delete them. Any start sync won't make the computers respond. Looking at the log it doesn't even reckognise those computers anymore.

I'm occasionally seeing the same.  We just migrated to 9.6sp1, so hoping it's just new agents that haven't' fully updated.

No it isn't we already past that point, but can't figure out what it can be as it looks like it doesn't recognize the devices as entity anymore. Though you should expect they will fail after the timeout that they don't.

What does the local log in the agent say? Is it still active on the device too or did it try to send the status?

Also, try to extend the time under Default Scheduled Task Settings - Maximum Task Run Time. This is default 30 minutes and it might have issues converting the task to policy after...

It's just not ending it but why this has happened ? I can suspect a shutdown for instance.

                  Hey Casper,

If you run this command line manually, will the device disappear as active?

                  sendtaskstatus.exe  -coreandip=CORE -taskid=3772 -retcode=229392444 "-ldap=LDAP" -pkgid=876

(Change what you changed in the first place, of course

                    Hi Frank,

No the status will change when running the script but even when I change the returncode to 0-succesfull it will stay active, but changes to I think the real code 1101 it think the device is having.
