Time is typically stored in UTC unless you set the attribute to store it otherwise. The time will display +/- based off the users time zone setting on their user object. So if the query is delivering the wrong time zone adjustment on those datetime's I'd look at the user's timezone setting who ran the query.
Yes, we have differnt time zone set for each user as we are spread globally.
Is ther a way in LANDesk, i can add time zone details.
Well the time zone is set on each user. So you have the option to put that detail on each Incident if you wanted. On your Incident window, you can find a place for it. Then expand the Raise User object, and drag and drop the Time Zone attribute wherever you wanted it on your Incident window.
When I used to have my own environment, I would have a scheduled task set the Time zone for users based off their location that was being fed in from Active Directory. If you find that everyone is coming through as GMT and you have a lot of users, this will make a tedious task much easier. Or just a bulk action off a query to amend attribute data.
Thats great to know that i can add the field, i am thinking of adding the field on the query.
Let me try and let you know lhow this goes.
