We use RDS 2012 remote app for connecting our Site IT admin to connect to our core ( don't know if it already supported yet it wasn't when I implemented it. Previously we used Citrix.
Non admin user can't access LANDESK for us. We give them the Portal Manager for some software or have the remote client to use the remote control.
we use RDS 2012, Citrix, locally installed LDMS console (for testing) and for core admins the consoles on cores.
No big differences in performance between RDS 2012 and Citrix found.
One issue on all remote consoles happen, if you don't work with console some minutes and start working again with openend console, you have to wait 10s-30s before you can do anything.
No idea why this happen. Until now, we found no cause. If you work continuous, no problems.
Thank you for your comments, I found that the web console more or less works, not that I updated to 9.6 SP2 I'll be testing workspaces.
