It may not be able to see the hard drive, or map the drives. What I like to do is comment out the reboot by doing an advanced edit on the script, then put a semicolon in front of that last line that contains the reboot command. Then retry the script, and after it is done, open up a command prompt, and type net use to see if any drives are mapped. Also run diskpart and run list disk to see if any hard drives show up.
Lastely, try and run imagew.exe by hand and walk through the wizard and see if it display any error messages.
Great tip. Here's what I've done:
After I Commented "Reboot" command I was able to troubleshoot it. Thanks again Bhadzik.
Map Drives - OK
See HDD's - OK
And it failing on
REMEXEC26=RunBatch -1 H:\Tools backall.bat 0 i:\Temp\%Computer - Device Name%, STATUS FACILITY=3510, SYNC, TIMEOUT=3600
Just blinks and nothing .......
Is here a way I can run it in debug mode?
Did you try and run imagew.exe by hand? It will open with a wizard asking if you want to capture or restore. Just run through by hand and see if there is a specific error.
Got it. Let me try it!
If I run imagex.exe by hand it works like a charm.
Very interesting ahhhhhhhhhh.
That is very funny. I replyed on this post PXE Deploys fail after loading entire image
Just trying to help. And guess what. I had same issue :). I had update from 8.6 -> 8.8 and during this update
osd\tools\ folder was not updated. So I had old files there. No wonder immaging not working correctly. After I replaced all content there (including imagew.exe) everything works like a charm.
Thank you everyone.
