    Active Directory Access

I am in the process of deploying LanDesk to our environment and wanted to verify that kind of access is needed for the connection between AD and LanDesk? We are creating a new domain account for this and wanted to verify what kind fo access this user will need to successfully connect to AD.

Also what kind of domain access will the account need used to deploy software to end users?

      thanks,

For AD you just need an account that has full read access both at the top level of AD and into the OUs.

Deploying software is going to be dependent on the permissions you have set in your deployment tool.  If it's LDMS, you'll just need to make sure the account has access into LDMS to deploy and on the machines it is a member of a group with install rights.
