Hi, what setting are you using to only retain software task information for 90 days? Are you referring to days to keep inventory change history or days to keep last scan history?
actually looking on landesk management > Software Distribution > History i have the retention for 90 days .. so i 'm able to retrieve sw installed by landesk task since 90 days ago.
what i would like to know ... if i enquery data in the pc inventory > Software > Add remove program > Program > how can i understand if software installed are from a Landesk task or manually installed by the user ? if there is a way to do that
Hi Alessandro, there are two ways to accomplish your use case.
1) Is scheduled task history which you are only keeping for 90 days, you could extend that as needed depending on impact to performance.
2) When deploying software distribution or patch management tasks via LANDESK, tack on a batch or script of some kind at the end that writes a registry key in a location that you collect via inventory that indicates it was installed by LANDESK.
Patch has its own history table however in your defined use case you want coverage between both components.
