Package Builder is last resort. Try running the MSI first. Here is a good link We use Mcafee so I can't give any personal experience, but try just using the MSI first. Command line section has a sample batch file. Not sure 3 dozen is a daunting task for LANDesk
Yeah - what ZMAN said. It's a simple tool, bear that in mind.
Many packages are a bit too complex these days for Package Builder to re-package - and really, you should talk to Symantec in the first place about what recommendations they have for automated deployment (I would be rather surprised if they hadn't thought of this one - must have some BKM's?) - it may even not involve any re-packaging that way :).
First port of call when trying to automate the distribution of a piece of software, is to check the software vendor itself ...

A quick Google search led me to the documentation on the MSI options for Symantec AntiVirus. From that I could figure out the options for an unattended update.
Thaks for the suggestion.
Good to hear. Get acquainted with appdeploy it will help in the future. The initial link I sent had a link to all the commandline options. Google is good, but the value in appdeploy (most times )is the user added content.
