I saw the post about the SQL query, but my question is more : Is there any ressource kit command or what ever to do so. What is launched when I right-click a device in the console and then choose "delete" ? Some commands should be launched at this point...
I've never seen one, but that does not mean it does not exist. Maybe some crafty admin has created one but I've never seen one supported or unsuppoorted. You can run sql profiler to see what is going on when you delete and there is a lot!
We have an SDK but it is not free.
That could allow you to do what you want.
I believe the capability is in the SDK but I would verify that before you buy it. Contact your sales rep or go to http://www.landesk.com/wheretobuy/
Jared is correct. The SDK (at least an older copy I have lying around - 2005ish) does have a Management SDK DeleteComputer method. You will however have to know how to use C# or C++ - my downfall. Maybe somebody here has a copy and can gen a small util.
ok, I will check there...
Thank for your answer
8.8 is installed with the message based sdk by default so if you are thinking of migrating then take a look at that and build something that talks to these. No need to purchase the sdk then.
