      We have the following issues with software installation using the scripts

      After a restart, the scheduled task is set with a timeout after which the following error appears


      "OK",0,0:04:00,19/08/2008 12:45:38,19/08/2008 12:49:38,"SLEEP"

      "CBA_ERROR:-1917761385",-1917761385,0:03:01,19/08/2008 12:49:38,19/08/2008 12:52:39,"WIN"


      The following commands run properly but in the end the status of the task is failed with the following result

      "PING: The responding machine's MAC address did not match"


      The agent is properly installed and is running.  We are using Landesk 8.7 SP5

          Check the inventoy for the machine in the database.  What IP address does it show?  LANDesk is trying to connect to that machine again after it reboots into windows using the IP address it has but it seems that when it pings the IP a different machine is responding.  Do you have more than one dhcp server servicing that subnet?  Is your inventory service handling the miniscans (.ims) so that the inventory is up to date with the correct IP address?
