I am trying to configure a data import so that when we import new user from AD to landesk, at the same time i would like to delete users from Landesk who are disable in AD(user who left the company)
Within the existing import i mapped "is deleted" attribute from AD to soft deletion target key attribute on right hand side. I then convert the vale and set as "1"
But this does not delete the user from AD. Can some one please help on this. I tried to follow this guide but this didn't help a lot How to configure Service Desk to clear out deleted AD users
Sounds like what you may want to do is use the attribute to in the mapping to set a field on the user file for "is Deleted" to true. Then, in SQL run a Stored Procedure that will:
Set tps_deleted = '1'
Where tps_is_deleted = '1' <--- or whatever your flagged attribute is.
The current versions really don't have a super simple way to manage this but this may help for sure.
