IOS VPP Managed Applications in AOD

We are working on getting our VPP rolling. We are currently trying to figure out the best practice for managing our licensed applications through AOD. Speaking to a LANDesk support rep, he told us that the only way is through OU distribution using Profiles. This method seems very impractical given that we have several iPads that need different applications.

As example: Lets say we have 15 iPads each at 3 sites with a total 5 different applications with 5 license per application that need to be installed. Not every site needs the same amount of licensed applications per device. Trying to manage this via profile by OU doesn't seem like it would work.

Is anyone doing this now that can shine in on how they maintain their Managed License environment for IOS devices?

      Thank you
