No, LD 9.6 is compatible with Windows 10. I'm replying from Win 10 Enterprise with LD agent installed and working properly. Are you able to boot into safe mode?
Yes, that is how we uninstalled the Landesk client.
Are there any warning/error messages in the Windows event logs that might help? Also, what was the issue you were seeing after installing the agent? (BSOD, boot loop,etc.)
One more thing I didn't consider - what SP are you on, if any? I am on SP2.
After asking more questions, it turns out that the user could log in and after 10 minutes the entire system would freeze. No ctrl+alt+delete, no mouse, nothing. Had to hold down the power button, once the system started to come up, the tech then put it in safe mode and uninstalled the Landesk Client.
I am also on SP2.
