Marcus, the Mac agent does not have a verbose window for the inventory nor for the vulnerability scanner like the Windows agent does. If you want to see the details of the scans, you can run them from terminal by browsing to /Library/Application\ Support/LANDesk/bin and running ./ldiscan or ./vulscan.
Are there plans for this to be a feature in the future? It would be very helpful to our Mac users to see exactly what is going on when these scans are running. Will the Mac agent ever have parity with the Windows agent in this regard?
I don't believe there are any current plans regarding these screens. I'd submit an ER in the portal.
As for parity, they're always trying to add things and make the experience as similar as possible. I do know the team wants to push all of the configuration options to agent settings like we have on the Windows agent. But if there is something specific you're looking for, I'd create an enhancement request so it can be properly tracked.
Vulscan and ldiscan both also write their output to the LDMS log file (also in /Library/Application\ Support/LANDesk).
