What version of LANDESK are you using?
When you installed your remote console did you also apply the same service packs/patches that are on your Core Server? If the patch levels are different then this sort of thing can happen. Later versions of LANDESK warn if there is a version difference.
You may also want to take a look at console.exe.log in your managementsuite\log folder on your remote machine to see if any errors are listed there.
