Regarding the script to reseed tickets...
DBCC CHECKIDENT ('im_incident', RESEED, 100999)
DBCC CHECKIDENT ('rm_request', RESEED, 200999)
DBCC CHECKIDENT ('pr_problem', RESEED, 300999)
DBCC CHECKIDENT ('cm_change', RESEED, 400999)
What is the logic behind the prefixes im, rm, pr and cm?
I created a new module called Project Management and I need to seed the tickets. Not sure if I should use the prefix 'pm' or something entirely different.
in the sql statement, the im_incident, rm_request, pr_problem and cm_change are the tables that yyou need to reseed.
You would have to identify the database table which is your project management table.
