I would set it up as a server and PXE and Preferred Server on the same machine are recommended for imaging.
I would also put File Services to setup your shares for imaging and SWD, also install the role IIS for things like SWD, file replication, and provisioning: How to set up a Preferred Server in IIS 7.5
Set up Preferred server in the console.
Then copy all images and/or software that you want to the new shares (you can use the file replication in preferred server if you want to make sure its always synced up).
Deploy PXE rep package
You wont need to move Boot.wim because it should copy from Core when you deploy PXE rep. If you use vboot this is a good to know docs: What's new in Provisioning in LDMS 9.6 Service Pack 1 / How to configure Preferred Servers as a PXE Representative and Host a Web Share for Vboot Files
You should have to edit UNC paths in Templates it should automatically check for Preferred Server but good info here: About Provisioning Action Handlers - Changes in LDMS 9.5
