    Script syntax for LD Client folder

    Rookie

      I try to create a script for application deinstallation. I have read many discussions and found a lot of possibilities to do that.

      We have many worldwide locations and I need a varible for the LD client path. First I have tried the direct version:

      REMEXEC0=c:\Programme\Landesk\ldclient\sdclient.exe /f /p="http://.......... and so on.     That works perfect, but only on german PC. Then I try

      REMEXEC0=%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR:~,-5%\sdclient.exe /f /p.........and so on.       does´t work. Error= System can not find the file.......   (Works on a local DOS box perfect)

      REMEXEC0="%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR:~,-5%\sdclient.exe" /f /p.........and so on.       does´t work. Error= System can not find the file.......

      REMEXEC0=<qt/>%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR:~,-5%\sdclient.exe<qt/> /f /p=" ....... and so on         does´t work

      Complete Script:

      REMEXEC0=<qt/>%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR:~,-5%\sdclient.exe<qt/> /f /p="http://Coreserver/ldlogon/apps/LDuninstall/Lduninst.exe" /dest="c:\Lduninst.exe" /polite=0 /lanpps=0 /wanpps=0 sync,
      REMEXEC1=c:\Lduninst.exe Program

      REMEXEC2=<qt/>%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR:~,-5%\ldiscn32.exe<qt/> /ntt=Coreserver /s=Coreserver /f /SYNC
      REMDEL0=c:/Lduninst.exe

      System is 8.7 SP5

      Any idea what is wrong with this script?
