Pre-Repair Script - Killing Task Before Repair

      Hello all,

I am in the final stages of pushing out MS16-097. We have about 10% of our environment that wont install the update because it will not run if Lync is running. My solution to this is pretty straightforward. I want to use the pre-repair script function to kill the communicator.exe task before the repair runs.

The issue that I've run into is that the pre-repair script does not seem to be documented very well. I've tried the "insert sample script" function, but the bat file it produces is not very helpful. Can someone help me out or at least point me toward some good documentation on how the pre-repair scripts work?

For reference this is the only command I need to run:

      taskkill.exe /im communicator.exe /f

      Thanks in advance.
