the information provided was a little slim on the actual process so I created a script off what was entered above. whenever a barcode is scanned the ID prints to the screen.. This script will print the scanned data to the screen
Script( WarehouseID )
String( sScanData )
Number( nScan )
Activate( On_Input, sScanData, nScan )
Comment: ID gets entered below
Keypress_String( "ID GOES HERE" )
Thank you cachilli,
I am actually looking for something else.
I guess the best way to explain it is when we use the RF unit to scan the Container ID on the inhouse label, we want it to automatically move it from one warehouse to another.
So, if we scan the Container ID it brings up a screen where we manually enter "TS" and manually hit Enter. Is there a script that will allow it to scan any Container ID and it automatically puts in "TS" and hit enter to move onto the next container ID?
Script( ScanTS )
Profile( Trial )
Boolean( WarehouseFound )
Activate( Screen_Update )
WarehouseFound = Search_Screen( "FROM", 22, 48, TRUE )
If( WarehouseFound )
Keypress_Key( 0x54 )
Keypress_Key( 0x53 )
Delay( 40 )
Keypress_Key( "VT220", "Enter" )
I tried this one and it didnt work.
I hope I am making sense of all of this. Im new and have been handed this project.
the script can be a bit complicated when used by itself. You may want to use the reformatter along with a script .. To use the reformatter you will need to capture the screens.
once you have captured the screens and saved them off you will need to import them into the reformatter..
it will ask you to import the screens..
once imported go to the screen you would like to have the script run on.. On that screen draw a box around some unique text that is only on that screen.. in my screen shot i used the word @sig and select verify text matches
Once that is complete right click on supporting action and select add script, and select the script you want to use on that screen..
Script i used:
Script( Text )
Keypress_String( "TS" )
once its all saved, test it out and it should work..
Script Not running as it doesn't meet the verify:
