To have items show in the portal, they need to be an optional or recommended policy. The frequency does not matter. This will also work for PSP, but will not be available until the initial push completes and the task turn into a policy.
I do have the deployment working (policies show and applications can be selected/installed when needed).
We're interested in where the packages are being pulled from, the PPS designated by the client? From the source (possible increasing bandwidth utilization between sites)?
I forgot to mention that, yes, the clients will use their designated PPS for download from source delivery methods. Run from source will do just what it says, and multicast will get the files from the subnet MDR.

I have the MDR = Multicast Domain Rep
PSP = Policy Supported Push
PPS = Preferred Package Server
