there is a way to delete the user from the sql server but you have to make sure, that this user is not linked to a ticket or group or s.o.
If you have this then your could delete your user from the tps_user table in your ldsd database.
I don't think you will be able to do this. LDSD uses too many foreign keys/constraints and when you get to the point in the script of deleting the user you will find SQL gives an error 'too complex, please simplify' There is a documented maximum number of these that MS allows ( cannot remember the exact number) and LDSD exceeds this maximum, hence the error.
You could (in theory) disable all of these and do the delete, but then you run the risk of deleting a record inappropriately and end up with an unsupported system.
Personally I'd raise your requirement with LANDESK and ask if their SI team can produce a bespoke widget for you to do this.
Someone might say why don't LANDESK stick to the rules, well they did and user deletions worked fine in the early days. Then MS fairly arbitrarily changed these limits retrospectively which put a number of suppliers in a difficult position. Code is now needed to delete records like this rather than SQL.
Thanks for your reply, I have tried that but unfortunately the user is linked to a group and I couldn't delete the user straight from tps_user, Is there any other way to perform the delete of the user???
Thanks for your reply, I have another question to you, is it possible to delete specific request completely from Database??
In the administration tool remove the user from the group and as I said you will find you cannot delete the user using SQL. Well if you can, do let everyone know!
