This is a two part question:
1. How do you select the type of service to search for in the Search box?
My Service Catalog (in test) looks like this: (notice the search bar doesn't have a dropdown)

2. Is there a way in Workspaces to not show all services offered on one page by default, but show the top levels of the hierarchy? Maybe something simple that looks like the second image (just above) where the top level of the Service Catalog just shows a box for Hardware and a box for Software, then if you click the Hardware box the following page shows boxes (links) for the type of hardware available (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Monitors, Scanners, etc...). Then if you click on one of the hardware type boxes you see a listing of all available hardware for the type of hardware selected. In our environment we offer several variations of desktops, laptops, printers, etc... and if we display everything we offer for hardware or software the page could look very busy. Ideally, we would like to guide the user to selecting the correct item they want to order.
Can the Service Catalog page (dashboard?) be customized at all? If so, how?
