1 - You may want to start by looking at the BKM's. An assorted list can be found here:

          http://community.landesk.com/support/tags/bkm?contentTypes=DOCUMENT

2 - Specifically this would be a good start (Best Known Method for Deploying Windows XP using Windows PE):

          http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-1693

3 - Additional resource for you to be aware of (contains a lot of useful stuff):

4 - If you've just been shanghai'ed into being a LANDesk admin, I'd have a chat with your boss about attending a LANDesk course. LANDesk isn't something you "just pick up" over a weekend, and at least attending a full week's training course will give you a bit more of a fighting chance to do whatever it is you need to in your org.

              No worries.

I just get concerned whenever I see someone being shanghai'ed into admin'ing LANDesk - this isn't the kind of software you can pick up over a weekend (which seems to be a biblical insight whenever I have to explain this to some people), so happy to help :).

The most likely thing - by the way - for you to "go wrong" is going to be driver-hassle with WinPE (in short - the driver for your NIC's are not included/detected by our WinPE image).

You'll find various articles & discussions on this here (the give-away is to notice that the client' doesn't get an IP-address). For most things you should be able to find a discussion or a doc by now in regards to OSD :).
