Are the tasks already visible as a collection at the bottom of your onboarding window or are the tasks and onboarding screen two separate objects completely at this point in that the techs can't get to the task from the onboarding window?
Correct, they are view able as a collection at the bottom. However, I'd like to have them displayed on the onboarding screen. I'm assuming I need to copy the attributes over to the onboarding object somehow.
I don't know of a way you could add additional fields directly from the collection, but you can change the data that's displayed on the collection tab which may be want your wanting. See this How to: Set Default Query for Collections in Web Desk - Changing the Columns you see in the tab
Another option and this is just an idea for testing is to drag your task object on to your onboarding module in object designer, when prompted choose no to creating a collection. This would create an additional relationship to the task object so in window manager on your onboarding window you would now be able to select the individual fields from the task(s) modules. Not sure if it would show the right task info though but maybe worth a quick test.

Worked with Mr. Roche at Landesk and we ended up creating a calculation on the Activity.NetworkLogin attribute to pull the networklogin attribute from the activity tasks collection. The calculation updates when a task is marked as complete and skips any null entries.
static def GetAttributeValue(Activity):
Value = ''
for Tasks in Activity.Tasks:
if Tasks._NetworkLogin != null:
Value = Tasks._NetworkLogin
So I just have to do this for each field that gets passed to the main object from the tasks.
