Can't be done, I'm afraid... the only time you can export a report as anything but PDF is when you manually run it.
Ah. That's a bummer. Any idea why the automated reports are not as functional as the manual ones? I don't really look forward to doing 30 reports by hand every month :)
Sadly, I'm not privy to that sort of decision
So, from the sound of it there's a desire to generate a bunch of reports and feed them to a post-processor before sending them to a person. I see three ways to deal with this:
1) Make the custom reports do more of the work, if possible, so that the generated PDF doesn't need to go through post-processing.
2) Make the post-processor go straight to the database and do all the work (yuck, but I end up doing this in ldms_core more often than not).
3) Modify the post-processor so that it reads data out of PDF. I'm just mentioning this for completeness' sake, I actually think it's a bad idea and likely to fail.
I see -- thanks! Custom works to a degree (we can sort by system tag number, which is most commonly what the boss wants) but then we can't sort by IP if he decides on that instead. In theory we could automate sending three or four reports all sorted differently.
